School Bulletin
The UPPC Print School continues to stand as a beacon of quality education, innovation, and professional training in Uganda’s printing and publishing industry. Over the past academic term, our institution has recorded remarkable progress across all departments, reflecting the dedication of our staff and the enthusiasm of our students.
In the Digital Printing program, learners have successfully completed advanced modules that introduced them to modern offset and digital technologies. Their projects included producing high‑quality brochures, posters, and booklets that rival commercial standards. These achievements were celebrated during an internal exhibition where parents, partners, and industry stakeholders commended the creativity and precision of our students.
The Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing classes have equally flourished. Students worked on collaborative assignments that challenged them to design professional layouts, create branding packages, and develop visual identities for mock companies. Through these exercises, learners not only sharpened their technical skills but also gained confidence in presenting their work to peers and mentors.
Our Web Design and Cybersecurity programs have also made significant strides. Web design students showcased innovative websites that combined aesthetics with functionality, while cybersecurity trainees participated in simulations that tested their ability to protect sensitive data. These practical experiences reinforced the importance of digital literacy and security in today’s interconnected world.
